Adani Group New Industries Ltd commissions India’s largest wind turbine at Mundra, Gujarat. This is India’s largest Wind Turbine Generator. Standing 200m, it is taller than the world’s tallest statue, the Statue Of Unity (182m).  It has blades bigger than the wingspan of a Boeing 747.

Mundra Windtech (MWL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Adani Group Enterprises, installed the turbine.

This prototype is also the first addition to Adani Group New Industries’ portfolio. It has laid the groundwork for the installation of larger wind turbine generators, according to the company.
